Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By using PDFbrix, you agree to these Terms of Use and the applicable Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

PDFbrix provides utilities for working with PDF and image files. Features may change, be improved, be removed or become subject to limits as the platform develops.

3. Your files and rights

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right to process, alter, convert and download the files you use with PDFbrix. You retain rights you already hold in your documents; using a tool does not transfer ownership of those documents to PDFbrix.

4. Permitted use

You may use the service for lawful personal and business purposes. You must not intentionally use it to violate law, infringe rights, distribute malware, attack the website, bypass security controls or interfere with other users or infrastructure.

5. Local processing

The included core tools are designed to process selected files locally in the browser. Future features may use server-side processing. Any such workflow should be identified separately and governed by the privacy terms published for that feature.

6. Accuracy and output review

PDF structures vary widely. You are responsible for reviewing generated output before relying on it, especially for legal, financial, archival, accessibility, print-production or compliance-sensitive documents.

7. No secure redaction or cryptographic signature claim

The Crop PDF tool changes page visibility and must not be treated as secure redaction. The Sign PDF tool adds a visual signature mark and does not create a certificate-backed cryptographic signature unless a future feature explicitly states and implements that capability.

8. Availability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. Browser limitations, device memory, malformed files, encrypted documents, third-party library availability or network conditions may affect performance.

9. Intellectual property

The PDFbrix website, branding, original interface, source code authored for the platform and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property law, subject to the licenses of third-party libraries and assets used by the website.

10. No scraping, mirroring or automated copying

You must not use HTTrack, WebCopy, WebZIP, Teleport Pro, SiteSucker, Offline Explorer or any similar offline-browser, site-mirroring or bulk-scraping tool, script or service to copy, crawl, mirror, reproduce, cache or redistribute this website's pages, design, source code, structured data or assets, in whole or in part, without prior written permission. Automated access is permitted only for the operation of standard, compliant search-engine indexing. Violations may result in immediate access blocking and legal action for copyright infringement.

11. Limitation and changes

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for losses caused by unreviewed output, unsupported files, temporary unavailability or misuse of the tools. These terms may be updated as the product and business model evolve.

12. Contact and governing terms

Use the contact page for support or legal notices. Before launch, the production operator should add its full legal identity, registered contact details, governing law and dispute-resolution provisions.
